Bert Gates, Treasurer
Graduated from St. Louis University Law School in 1973 and has has been a principal in the law firm of Kuelker & Gates P.C.for the last 42 years. He served eight years as alderman, followed by sixteen years as mayor, of the City of Shrewsbury in St Louis County. He has also served as president of the St Louis County Municipal League and of Mayors of Small Cities; and has also served on the board of directors of Citizens for Modern Transit.

Senior Account Executive with The Daniel & Henry Company specializing in working with governmental entities. Previously employed as a City Administrator in the St. Louis area with over twenty years of experience at the federal, state & local levels.

Lifelong resident of Webster Groves, and City Attorney for 16 years. Grinnell College (’63) and Yale Law (’66), and US Navy. Served on The Board of Freeholders to consider governmental economies. Married with two adult children both residing in Webster.
City Administrator, City of St. Ann
Worked nearly 40 years with organizations serving local governments in the St. Louis region, including as Executive Director of the Municipal League of Metro St. Louis from 1990 to 2015.
Monica M. Huddleston, former Mayor-City of Greendale 2003-2007 and 2011-2015. Retired Southwestern Bell Director-Central Office Operations-Eastern Missouri.
E. Terrence (Terry) Jones
Professor Emeritus of Political Science and Public Policy Administration, Dean Emeritus of Arts and Sciences, University of Missouri-St. Louis.
Executive Director of the Municipal League Metro St. Louis. Served 8 years as Alderman and 14 years as Mayor for the City of Brentwood. Village Administrator for the Village of Twin Oaks and was Vice President of Business and Community Development for Eagle Bank & Trust.
Served on both the St. Louis County and Missouri Municipal Leagues’ Executive Boards, as Chairman of the Mayors of Small Cities, as Legislative Chair for Missouri and Kansas for the International Conference of Shopping Centers (ICSC), on the St. Louis County Economic Collaborative Committee, and as the ICSC Missouri and Kansas State Alliance Public Sector Co-Chair. Member St. Louis – Jefferson County Solid Waste Commission Executive Board.
